MUWAT Night Crawler Robusto
RM29.00 – RM35.00
Drew Estate founder Jonathan Drew initially called his first MUWAT cigar “The Uzi”. When he went to pick up a bundle of 50 sticks he lifted it and said “Damn, My Uzi Weighs a Ton”. Hence the name MUWAT – marketing and branding at its best!
Despite the silly back-story, this is a very fine cigar indeed. It is blended in partnership with Joya De Nicaragua using some of the richest tobaccos in the business. A well-aged Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper encloses a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro binder with filler leaves from Brazil (Mata Fina Oscuro) and Nicaragua (Esteli Ligero, Seco Jalapa and Viso Condega). The resulting cigar is a serious flavor bomb from start to finish.

The MUWAT Night Crawler’s smoke is rich, cool, creamy and full in body, with hints of walnuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, leather, cocoa, and baking spices. The final third reveals fully developed dark chocolate and cherry flavours with smooth leather and molasses and a wonderful pepper spice on the retrohale. It won’t overwhelm you with its strength, but the flavours have real depth.
